| Search and Rescue (SAR) is an aspect of emergency services in which federal, state, and local agencies coordinate, deploy, and manage trained SAR teams. These teams are used to look for, rescue, or recover lost and/or injured people. Of the various components of SAR, one of the most valuable and interesting is the use of dogs. We know that dogs have been credited with finding people and saving lives since humans and canines realized one another's value. In recent times, people have began to realize and take advantage of the dog's remarkable physiology to find and rescue lost and injured people. |

It is our intent at CRF to put good SAR dogs as well as handlers in the field of Search and Rescue. The
main and only priority of CRF is the missing person and/or persons and returning them to their loved ones.
